Basic recipe: (suggested not to make on a rainy or humid day as they will not dry).
5 lbs. white, granulated sugar
1/4 cup meringue powder
10 tsp. water
skull candy mold
- Mix with hands until the consistency of wet sand.
- Pack into mold firmly.
- Place cardboard on top of mold and flip. When unmolded if too dry, add more water 1 tsp at a time. If too wet, add more sugar.
- Allow to dry for at least one day.
- Decorate with royal icing!
- Yield: approximately 30 small skulls
